How to stay hydrated
Avoid alcohol
Alcohol reduces the production of anti
diuretic hormones. These hormones help the body absorb water. The more alcohol
you consume, the more the body is dehydrated. In addition, alcohol increases
the rate of urination, which simply means another loss of body water.
Additional symptoms are dry mouth, headache and thirst. You can drink a glass
of water or coconut water for each alcoholic beverage you consume.
Drink enough water
It is the most important of all the steps
to stay hydrated. Make it a habit to drink enough water each day. Developing
the habit of drinking water is easy enough. For example, do not forget to drink
a glass of water in the morning, and then drink several drinks during the day.
Do not make eight glasses a day, hard and fast. Take your time; do not forget
to drink enough water.
Do not wait to be thirsty
Fatigue, headaches, and dizziness: it can
all be a sign that it's time to drink water. But what about thirst? It is
interesting to note that many say that if you are very thirsty, you have
probably already lost a lot of water. For this reason, it is important to take
small sips regularly during the day (it is not necessary to drink a full drink
in one session).
Coconut water
Coconut water is now a popular drink and
another way to satisfy your fluid needs. Contains mineral potassium, sodium and
natural sugars . It is sometimes used to replace lost fluids in the treatment
of dehydration. It has also been reported to contain antioxidants.
Milk
Milk is a good choice because it contains
nutrients such as protein, B vitamins and calcium and is also a source of
water. Be careful with the amount you drink because it can also contain
saturated fats. Select the options "Half or Magic”. If cow's milk does not
suit you, soy, rice and almond milk are healthy alternatives. Some are
fortified with calcium to make sure you do not lose this essential nutrient.
Domestic refrigerators
The refreshing boxes are very fun in the
summer and delicious. Creativity is always put forward in the kitchen. Berries,
mangos, melon and herbs such as mint, basil and ginger add flavor and aroma.
Fruits
Fruits are undoubtedly the best way to stay
hydrated. Eat fruits as snacks. They contain water, fiber and sugar. Choose
fruits such as watermelon (92% water), cucumber (96% water), strawberries (92%
water), etc. It contains important nutrients to stay healthy.
You can also request freshly squeezed
juices. Squeeze the oranges or apples or cranberries in a juice and mix them.
Add water as it reduces the sugar content and makes it even healthier
