Protect your hair from sun exposure

Sun damage is one of the main causes of hair damage, discoloration of color and brittle end. If it does not protect your hair from the sun's UV rays, it's time to start. And even if we are more exposed in summer, do not forget that the sun shines all year long.

After a long day of sunshine (outings to the beach, hiking, outdoor sports), it is wise to give your hair a long-lasting moisturizer to prevent damage and keep it in optimal condition.

Hot oil treatment

The hot oil treatments give shine and moisture to the hair. They are also very easy at home. Generously apply your favourite hair oil to fresh, towel-dried hair. You can also attack the kitchen and taste olive oil or lemongrass oil.

Cover with a shower cap or plastic wrap and apply heat to a hot towel (fresh out of the dryer), on a hair dryer, or warm on a hot day. Once warmed to room temperature, let your hair cool and rinse with cold water. Hot oil treatments can be done one to three times a month, depending on how many times the hair is dry and how dry it is. Too much oil can erase your hair. Be careful not to overdo it.

Change your lifestyle

·       Add protein-rich foods to lean meats, fish, soy or other protein-rich foods to help reduce hair loss. Many high-protein foods also contain vitamin B-12.

·       Take care of existing hair Remember to never brush wet hair. Avoid rubbing your hair with a towel. Instead, blow in the wet state and allow to dry.

·       Don’t take stress. Meditation helps reduce stress and restore hormonal balance. Some types of exercises, such as walking, cycling or swimming for 30 to 60 minutes for a day / sport that uses aggression, etc. They help relieve stress.

·       Avoid wigs or hairpieces. Although they appear to be a good immediate cosmetic solution, they can accelerate hair loss by damaging hair follicles.
